The Stories We Tell

Book by Cory Gouldman

We all tell stories. It is fundamental to our shared human experience. Unfortunately, the stories we tell ourselves and those around us are usually not in alignment.

Much like a mime exaggerates his or her expressions, our outer world hides our inner domain, and those around us only see the falsehoods we want them to see. Our stories become masks and though we are seen, we are not truly known. Only when we are willing to align those stories, not merely with one another, but with reality itself, can we finally walk free without the painted face and be known.

Using Narrative and Existential therapeutic principles, this journal is filled with guided prompts with the purpose of helping you tell your story honestly. By exploring past, present, and future, you are invited on a journey of truth, understanding, and acceptance. There can be peace without the face paint, if you are willing to brave that journey.
